…and always has been.

For more than 50 years, Statewide Office Furniture has manufactured steel office storage products such as filing cabinets, lockers, cupboards and tambours in Australia. As of 1st June 2020 we decided to celebrate our Australian manufacturing heritage by becoming a member of the Australian Made Campaign.

By joining the campaign, Statewide is giving our customers maximum confidence that when you buy Statewide, you are truly supporting local. When you buy from a company displaying the official Australian Made logo, you are assured that we have received third party accreditation that our products are Made in Australia.

Being Australian Made means more to us than the logo. These are some of the benefits of buying from Statewide.

We Manufacture and Assemble right here in Sydney

We buy raw materials and form them into the parts we use in our Sydney factory using our machinery, tooling and Australian labour. This includes steel for the product bodies, polymer for our runner wheels, powder coat for painting and more. We don’t just purchase ready made parts from overseas and assemble them in Australia.

Our Supply Chain

We source locally made parts and components wherever possible. Our steel comes from Bluescope Steel directly and is produced in Australia. Our powder coat is mostly sourced from Interpon and Dulux who also manufacture in Australia. Our basic locks are manufactured in Melbourne. The only parts we do not source locally, we do so because there are no Australian manufacturers to buy from.

Our Team

We employ over 20 members of the community primarily in Sydney, but also in Melbourne and Brisbane. These people are your friends and neighbours and by supporting Australian manufacturers like Statewide, you are helping to keep your money in the Australian economy.

Support Local

Supporting local doesn’t just mean buying coffee at your local coffee shop. It means making choices that keep your money flowing in the Australian economy rather than the international economy. The Australian manufacturing industry has dwindled over the years so when you find a company like Statewide, give us a chance to quote. Resellers of Statewide Products

The official Australian Made logo is for everyone to use who Supports Local by offering and selling Statewide products. Effective immediately, our resellers are encouraged to use the logo next to any Statewide products you may have in your online showrooms or print media. This will help show you customers that you are serious about Australian Made.
