Keys are an easy item to lose. They are small, and in a busy work environment they can change hands frequently. Thankfully, at Statewide we can replace lost or damaged keys for you. Simply email amanda@statewideoffice.com.au the required information listed below and we can have a new set of keys out to you pronto!

Required Information

This information is essential when placing your key order. Please be sure to provide it all, so your order is not delayed.

  • Billing address

  • Postal address

  • Your key number (examples on how to find this below)

After we have this information, shortly after you will receive an invoice (please check with us for the price as it may vary by key type) which is payable either by EFT or credit card (no Amex, sorry!). This price includes a pair of keys and standard Australian Postage direct to the postal address you provided.

Once payment has been confirmed, your key order will be underway. Please allow up to 15 working days for your new set of keys to arrive.

Lock Examples

The locks pictured below demonstrate how you can identify what your key number is. The number is etched into the face of the lock and corresponds with the key we will send you. Be sure to double check, sometimes the number is hard to read, particularly on older units.

How long until keys arrive once I've made payment?
Keys are ordered once a month, so depending on the time of the month you submit your order, it may take up to 25 working days. In most cases it is less, but we would rather under-promise and over-deliver rather than the other way around.
I urgently need to open my storage unit, I can't wait for keys to arrive. Can you help?
We certainly can! Our qualified technicians have the tools and knowledge to safely get into your product. In many cases, we can even open units where the lock mechanism is no longer working, and replace the entire lock for you. Unless it's a warranty issue however, there will be a service charge. Please contact us via the service request page or call us at our Sydney office on 02 9750 3677 to organise a resolution.
I received my key in the mail but it isn't working. Now what?
There are only a couple of reasons why a key wouldn't work. The first thing to do is confirm the number is correct by comparing the key number matches the order. If you have ordered the wrong number, unfortunately you will have to order an additional key. If the number is correct, spray a small quantity of WD40 (or similar) onto the key and insert the key into the lock a few times. Sometimes dust buildup can prevent a key from working, particularly if you haven't used it in a while. If your product is a filing cabinet or has "anti-tilt" locking, ensure the surface is level. The locking bar may have difficulty moving correctly if the product is not level. Once you have tried the following, give us a call and a friendly technician can talk you through the problem and if needed, possibly organise a paid visit to your location.
